China SPT Branches Out into Aerospace Fastener Test Tasks

The operation area of China National Center for Quality Supervision and Test of Standard Parts (SPT) branches out into aerospace field followed by nuclear and wind power. Currently, the SPT has signed “Technical Evaluation Agreement” and “Inspection Contract” with the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC), will impose quality test tasks on standard fasteners of China C919 large commercial airliner. The tests of aerospace standard fasteners are different from routine tests of ordinary fasteners since their specificities, including dimensional inspection, tensile strength, anti-cuts strength, grain flow lines, grinding burn and so on have specific standards to ensure the smooth implementation of high strength friction grip bolts and maintain flight safety.
