Fastener Fair India 2026 Make-in-India and Infrastructure Boom Creates New Opportunities for Taiwanese Fastener Suppliers

Fastener Fair India 2026 was held from July 24–26 at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. As India's leading exhibition dedicated to fastener and fixing technologies, the event showcased industrial fasteners, construction fixing systems, manufacturing equipment, tooling, surface treatment, inspection solutions, and hand tools. Bringing together buyers from the fastener, automotive, construction, heavy industry, and infrastructure sectors, the exhibition once again served as one of South Asia's key sourcing and networking platforms for the fastener industry.
The three-day exhibition attracted strong visitor traffic throughout the event. Approximately 90% of visitors came from India, while the remainder represented the Middle East, China, Europe, and North America, indicating that the show continues to be primarily driven by domestic demand while gradually gaining greater international attention. Around 90% of exhibitors were Indian companies, with the remaining exhibitors coming from China, Taiwan, and other countries. Chinese exhibitors significantly outnumbered their Taiwanese counterparts. Roughly 80% of exhibitors were fastener manufacturers, while the rest represented wire, coating technologies, tooling, circlips, machinery, engineering software, and inspection equipment, reflecting the increasing maturity and specialization of India's fastener supply chain.
On the demand side, buyers were mainly seeking self-drilling screws, drywall screws, machine screws, anchor nuts, and other construction and industrial fasteners. Some visitors also expressed interest in caulking guns and related construction tools. The demand closely mirrors India's ongoing investment in infrastructure and manufacturing. Extensive roadworks, residential and commercial construction projects, together with the large number of aging buildings and vehicles observed throughout the city, suggest continued long-term demand for construction fasteners as well as automotive fastening solutions.
According to on-site observations, dozens of Indian exhibitors located along the exhibition's main aisles stated that they have long sourced substantial volumes of fasteners from Taiwan. This indicates that Taiwanese manufacturers have become deeply integrated into India's fastener supply chain and have earned a strong reputation for product quality, delivery reliability, and manufacturing consistency. Visitors also showed a clear preference for Taiwanese products, widely recognizing Taiwan’s stable quality and reliability. While Chinese products remain competitive on price, many buyers noted that product consistency continues to be an important consideration.
As India continues to advance its "Make in India" initiative and expand infrastructure investment, demand for fasteners is expected to maintain steady growth. Although the market remains largely dominated by local manufacturers, the strong confidence Indian buyers place in Taiwanese products, together with the long-established procurement relationships between Indian manufacturers and Taiwanese suppliers, points to promising opportunities for Taiwanese fasteners, specialty fasteners, and related hand tools. For companies looking to expand into South Asia, Fastener Fair India has become an important platform for identifying market trends, strengthening supply chain partnerships, and exploring new business opportunities.
