Bulten Introduces New Green Product Line: BUFOe

       By the innovative combination of advanced materials and vast know-how in the cold forging process, Bulten makes heat treatment redundant. Reducing energy consumption by >50% and CO2 emissions with >30%.

 

      Bulten uses cold forging steel owing its properties to a specifically matched combination of temperature-controlled rolling and the additions of micro- alloying elements. Together with carefully calculated deformation hardening, this allows Bulten to make bolts of strength class 800 to 1000 MPa without quenching and tempering after cold forging.
