U.S. Industrial Fasteners Institute officially elected Jennifer johns Friel of Mid West Fabricating as the new chairperson of the board of directors in 2011-2012, while David Monti of Fall River Manufacturing Co., Inc. as the vice chairperson.
Friel was the board member of IFI for 3 years and was the publication and information chairperson. She has a degree of business from Denver University and served in Mid West Fabricating for a very long time. She is also the first female chairperson in the 80 years history of the Institute. Her father and husband were both chairpersons of the Institute in 1993-1994 and 2005-2006 respectively.
New vice chairperson Monti of Fall River Manufacturing Co., Inc. is very active in the industry and was the vice chairperson of NFDA.
