The International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF) last week released the report of 2011 global stainless steel output. This report indicates that global stainless steel output in 2010 has finally increased by 24.9% after 3 years of declining, making a new record of 30.7 million tons. Asia accounted for 65% of the world’s stainless steel production in 2010. The second biggest manufacturing area in 2010 was Western Europe and Africa, which increased output by 22.1% to7.9 million tons.
