According to Taiwan’s Directorate General of Customs, Taiwan’s wire rod import/output in 2010 showed synchronous increases. The total import amount of wire rod last year reaches 219,154 tons, valuing totally to NT$4.6256 billion. As to wire rod output, totally amounting to 256,269 tons, achieving a total value of NT$6.1292 billion. Among all, D＜14MM displays a simultaneous growth in import/output.
