Interpretation of Automobile Standard Manual

Automobile Standard Manual has been applied to Chinese automobile industry for 50 years, which is an essential technical manual for standard products. For those who want to enter Chinese automobile market and develop automobile industry, this article introduces the content including background, objective, the relationship of current standard, and the ways to number products with unique characteristics. In the article, “Standardization of Automobile Fasteners in China” (written for Fastener World Magazine), I have briefly mentioned “Automobile Standard Manual” used in Chinese automobile industry. Since Taiwan and other manufacturers overseas are enthusiastic about developing Chinese automobile standard parts and automobile industry, I believe it is beneficial for everyone to introduce this Manual in details. As one of the compiling participants of Automobile Standard Manual from the first to the third edition, it is my responsibility to introduce the content of the Manual. I’ll be glad to help everyone obtain an in-depth understanding of automobile standard from this article.
