World's Biggest Nut Goes up in Green Bay
Packer Fastener added a new nut to its inventory. A crew from De Pere's Orde Sign and Graphics Inc. bolted the world's biggest hex nut into place on a concrete slab near the northeast corner of South Ashland Avenue and Lombardi Avenue. Packer Fastener President Terry Albrecht commissioned De Pere's Robinson Metals to fabricate the 10-foot hex nut. Albrecht said he wanted to celebrate the company's new headquarters at 728 Lombardi Ave. as well as to add something unique to the Greater Green Bay landscape.
