Market Estimates Taiwan CSC March Domestic Bid Price in Plateau

Taiwan CSC is subscribed to open domestic bid price of steel products on Jan. 13. Affected by floods happening in Australia and European, American snowstorm, international raw material cost of coal and iron ore is stimulated to mount, in addition, augmented market inventory results in steel price hiking in Europe, America, Japan, Korea, and China. Motivated by the above, Taiwan CSC domestic bid price in Mar., according to the market corporations` forecast, will be in a state of plateau, 6 steel products, inclusive of cold and hot rolling, are expected to get price going up. Among all, price in hot rolling is expected to rise NT$800~1,000 per ton, cold rolling and hot dip galvanized steel coil are expected to get NT$1,200 price mounting. With regard to bar line, it intends to open a flat bid price as for taking most fastener customers` abilities in receiving foreign orders into consideration.
