China promoted the "11th Five-Year Plan" in 2006, laying groundwork on auto industry, forming the industrial clusters gradually. China`s car sales volume is predicted to obtain a breakthrough by reaching 18.5 millon, the total output value in auto industry will be over RMB$4 trillion, whereas auto parts industry will exceed RMB$1.6 trillion, continuing to hold the reputation with “The Largest Country of Auto Manufacturing and New Car Sales”. China will comprehensively upgrade synthetical competitiveness in auto parts industry during the 2011 “12th Five-Year Plan”, cultivating a group of extensive enterprises equipped with international competitiveness, developing towards conglomeration, formalization, and professionalization, focusing on becoming industrial power instead of just being large. The Executive Vice President of China Machinery Industry Federation（CMIF）plus Chairman of Society of Automotive Engineers of China (SAE China), Zhang Xiao-Yu indicates that the future 10 years will be the objective years on transforming China`s auto industry to upgrade, realizing the goal of “industry power”. Nowadays, how to implement changing into in excellence and power instead of just being fast and strong is the primary mission in auto industry.
