EU Trade Strategy with China in Tension

According to the alert released by the Department of Commerce of PRC, the EU referred in its currently published report on "trade, growth, and world affairs" that will utilize any possible ways to ensure the trade of the EU will not face unfavorable situations, including antidumping and countervailing investigations, bilateral trade talks, and the appeal to WTO. According to related statistics, since January through November 2010, the number of antidumping investigation launched by the EU against China has been 10, and the value of involved products is about US$4.74 billion, which is 6 times that of 2009.
