Vietnamese Machinery & Parts Export Rose 15.61% in January
Sài Gòn Giải Phóng news reported the statistics from General Department of Vietnam Customs on March 17, revealing that Vietnamese machinery and parts export rose 15.61% to over USD 529 million in January. Particularly, Japan was the largest export destination for Vietnamese Machinery and parts by the value at around USD 112 million, up 4.54%. US was the second largest destination by the value at USD 98.77 million, up 40.32%. Hong Kong was the third largest by USD 31.21 million, up 30.9%. The combined exported value towards Japan, US, and Hong Kong accounted for 45.7% of Vietnam's January export value of the same products.
According to the same report, export value of Vietnamese machinery and parts also grew substantially in Korea (up 33.21%), Netherlands (up 96.77%), Germany (up 53.26%), Malaysia (up 97.07%), and Indonesia (up 41.92%).
