Joiner Fastener Launches New Plant
New Plant to Integrate Production with Packaging
Joiner Fastener Enterprise Co., Ltd is located in Gangshan, the heartland of Taiwan fastener industry. With one-year preparation, its new plant was officially launched in November 2013. General manager Anthony Chuang said that the new plant was built to resolve insufficient capacity and the continuous influx of purchase orders, in correspondence to current and future clients’ demands. Joiner Fastener plans to expand production and integrate manufacturing, inspection, and packaging altogether, which can help boost the monthly capacity of the new plant to add more 200 tons. The monthly capacity of both the existing plant and the new one is expected to reach 550 tons in total. The new plant spans the area of 2,479 square meters, and more investment has been placed in adding new personnel and facilities such as optical sorting machines, cutting & mounting machines, micro hardness tester. In the next stage, Joiner Fastener will add sorting process by introducing 6 to 8 optical sorters in the new plant. As the new plant demands for more labors and integration, the number of staff has been increased to 50. The construction of the new plant will not only elevate its capacity but also enhance the quality of fasteners.
Technical Upgrade to Strengthen Its Business in Japan
After the new plant was established, Joiner Fastener dedicated to the R&D and technical upgrade and worked hard to improve the tensile strength and torque of its main products- construction fasteners, in order to develop more new products for customers and satisfy their demand for various specification. Joiner Fastener certified by ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 will further apply for JIS accreditation in the future. Its products with excellent quality are exported globally and match with clients’ demand for OEM products. The Japanese market accounts for 40% of its total sale, followed by 25% for Europe and 35% for the rest of markets including Australia, the Middle East, and Latin America. Joiner Fastener can in one hand consolidate its presence in the high-quality-demanding Japanese market, and in another hand continue its development and expansion in Europe and the Middle East. It looks forward to the growth of emerging markets around the world.
