AK Steel Announced Steel Price Increase

On November 8, AK Steel announced the prices of hot rolled would increase by US$30 per ton, and US$40 for cold rolled and galvanized products. This is the third price adjustment following the previous two by Duferco Farrel and Nucor. AK noted, “ This is a response to the increasing demand for carbon steel products and the relieving of higher manufacturing cost.”
