Kaohsing City Government Proposed 2 More Industrial Parks to Fulfill Investing Demand of Fastener Industry
The mayor of Kaohsuing, Taiwan, Chen Chu recently said, “The fastener industry is an important local industry in Kaohsuing.” For the needs of the industry investments, the Economic Development Bureau of Kaohsiung City Government proposed the construction of two more industrial parks. It is said that the metal fastener logistic park which will be located at Alian District in Kaohsuing and cover over 100 hectares will be reported to the Central Government in June. The park will immediately allow companies’ moving in if the case is approved in the end of the year.
Economic Developments Bureau pointed out, because Kaohsuing is a fastener powerhouse, many companies convey the demand of setting up factories. The City Government is planning two new industry parks for those companies which have the needs to invest new factories. One of that is located at the north of Gangshan Benjhou Industrial Park, covering approximately over 80 hectares, and the other is located at the Alian metal fastener logistic park, with a land area of about over 100 hectares.
