China Auto Sales Exceeded 18 Million Units in 2011

18.505 million units with a YoY growth of 2.45%, continuing to remain in the global leading position in terms of the sales volume, among which the sales of the passenger cars were 14.472 million units, accounting for 78.2% of the total sales.  

In addition, according to China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the total auto exports of China in 2011 amounted to 814,000 units increasing by 269,000 units compared with 2010 with a record high YoY growth of 49.5%, and the auto imports of China in 2011 reached 1.037 million units with a YoY growth of 27.8%.
