Taiwan Export Sales again Hits Record High in 2011

Taiwan’s export orders in full year 2011 exceeded USD430 billion, again creating record high with YoY growth of 7.23%. 

Among the main export orders markets, except for the orders drop in Japan due to the earthquake disaster and the slow development of global economy, other makets all posted growth. The U.S. is the country showed the largest growth while China’s growth is limited by the tight monetary policy and high base period. In addition, ASEAN countries have replaced Japan to become the fourth largest market.
