2011 China-made Car Domestic Sales Volume Showed the Lowest Growth Rate in Thirteen Years

China car market reported a rare decline in 2011. In view of the sales volume in the domestic end market, the growth rate of China-made car sales was –7% in 2011, reducing from the 17.82 million units in 2010 to 16.6 million units in 2011.
                                                                                                                                                                                       China Passenger Car Association expects that if the fuel tax rate is fixed, according to the statistics of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the car wholesale volume will be around 19.8 million units in 2012, increasing about 7%, among which the sales volume of passenger cars will be 15.55 million units and that of commercial cars will be 4.25 million units. For the China-made car sales in the domestic end market, the volume will reach 18.56 million units, increasing 12%.
