As the industrial wave moves towards ASEAN nations, Vietnam is being evaluated as a desirable destination for an economy waterfall. The signing of numerous significant projects by global corporations, including Foxconn, Lego, and investment growth choices by Samsung and LG. Especially, sustainable supply chains are crucial in the development of Vietnam’s economy growth.

Currently, entrepreneurs are interested in integrating corporate social and environmental responsibilities in order to enhance market production and supply chains in a sustainable way. ESG indicators and reports, in particular, have become critical criteria for many investors to consider prior to making investments in Vietnamese firms.

However, Vietnamese businesses also encounter a variety of challenges. In order to take advantage of opportunities from foreign corporations investing in and expanding factories in Vietnam as well as sustainable supply chains, Vietnamese manufacturers must strengthen their competitive advantage by updating new machinery and technology, increasing efficiency, lowering consumption, and educating the level of human resources.

Recognizing its importance, the METALEX Vietnam event continually offers comprehensive metal processing experiences to enterprises looking to boost productivity as well as vendors of machine tools and metal processing solutions. Designed and built from the format of the biggest metal processing event in ASEAN, METALEX Vietnam 2024 will be held with the theme of "From Line to Cycle – Building A Carbon Neutral Manufacturing Legacy” from October 02–04, 2024 at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC).
