IFE 2023 Preshow Feature- Fulfilling the ESG Concept, Hu Pao Creates a Win-win with Customers

Following the spirit of ESG in recent years, Hu Pao Industries Co., Ltd. not only has worked hard to deepen its expertise in the manufacturing of automotive, special, anti-loosening, and customized nuts, but also has introduced the concepts of digitization, energy saving and carbon reduction into its production lines, hoping to awaken the industry's awareness of crisis and to align with the international trend of net zero.
Recognizing the potential of U.S. automotive, construction, and standard nut markets, infrastructure opportunities, and the imminent implementation of new carbon emission policies, Hu Pao has partnered with U.S. largest distributor to supply hexagonal nuts, nylon nuts, and locknuts commonly used in the construction and DIY sectors, and also intends to expand its U.S. presence with local distribution channels. In addition, in response to the gradual recovery of the U.S. booming market, Hu Pao, which has been working with the supply chain of global automobile manufacturers for years, expects to play a strong backing role for U.S. EV industry and aims to increase the proportion of U.S. sales to 45%. In addition to a wide range of popular products and weld nuts, Hu Pao is also able to extend its supply of other quality products. 60% of Hu Pao's global exports are automotive nuts, and six specifications of nuts are used by Tesla, the leader in EV.
The new factory built in 2021 is fully compliant with international automotive standards, and the manufacturing equipment has been successively upgraded with the introduction of ERP software, MES system, forming machine pressure sensor, intelligent energy control system, etc., as well as optical inspection machines and Keyence 3D inspection instruments purchased to meet the high precision inspection requirements for automotive/special parts. Hu Pao is leading the Taiwan industry to obtain the ISO14064-1:2018 GHG Inventory Verification in 2023 and continues to develop innovative products with high CP value and competitiveness and provide fast delivery and flexible customization services. In addition, Hu Pao also holds IATF16949:2016, D&B, and ISO 9001:2015 certifications, and has channeled external resources from industry, government, and academia to build a green benchmark company in line with ESG development trends.
