According to Japan Automotive Manufacturers Association (JAMA), the export amount in the first half of 2011 was 1.84 million units (down 20.8% compared to 2.324 million units in 2010. The total export value in the first half of 2011 was 59.02 billion yens (41.196 billion yens for cars and 17.824 billion yens for automotive parts (down 10.8% compared to 66.197 yens last year.
