2010 China Hardware Products Gross Import & Export Value Reached USD74.923 Billion

According to “2010 China Customs Statistical Analysis of Hardware Products Import & Export ” reported by China Hardware Products Association, the gross import and export value of China hardware products in 2010 reached USD74.923 billion. The increasing margin reached 30.1% in comparison to that of 2009. Among which the gross export value was USD57.51 billion, showing a 31.4% increase YoY. In terms of exporting areas, the amount exported to Asia was USD18.786 billion (a 27.1% increase YoY); to Europe was USD16.898 billion (a 34.1% increase YoY); to North America was USD13.568 billion (a 29.2% increase YoY); to Africa was USD3.152 billion (a 28.1 increase YoY); to Latin America was USD3.5 billion (a 61% increase YoY); and to Oceania was USD1.607 billion (a 28.3% increase YoY). The first six exporting countries in order are the U.S., Japan, Germany, Russia, Hong Kong and the U.K. In comparison with 2009, this year China had three new exporting countries: Greenland in North America, Gambier Islands and Marquesas Islands in Oceania. Meanwhile, without reducing, the number of the exporting countries and regions has reached 226 compared with that of 2009. Based on the aforesaid, the export of China hardware products has shown an obvious upturn.
