India Car Market Reached 2 Million Units in 2010

In 2010, the scale of India car market reached 2 million units. 14 foreign companies and 3 domestic Indian car manufacturers producing 4 million cars per year (including export) resulted in a fierce competition. According to the estimate of experts, Indian car market will grow over 10% every year and the domestic demand in 2015 will be over 3 million units. After the global financial crisis, foreign international brands consider that the advanced market has encountered a bottleneck, so they start to change their cooperative partners and reinforce the expansion into Indian market.
