Toyota Resumes All Production in Southeast Asia

      Toyota's automotive assembly plants in Southeast Asia have all resumed production. In Asia, Toyota Kirloskar Motor located in India is the only remainder that is left closed.

 

      Shah Alam, which is Toyota's automotive assembly plant in Malaysia, stopped production due to COVID-19 but now has resumed since June 9. Astra Daihatsu Motor, the plant in Indonesia resumed production on June 3. Coupling those with plant reboots in Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam, Toyota has put all of its plants in Southeast Asia back on line.
