According to the statistics, the weight of iron-made products in China was 128,185 tons and the weight of copper-made products was 8,961 tons, which was 43% higher than the total production in 2009. The applications include 62% for transport machines (cars and motorbikes), 1% for industrial machines (agricultural machines), 29% for electric machines (home appliances and power tools), and 8% for others (engineering machines), among which electric machines shows 3% growth from 2009. In China, the numbers of manufacturing plants are as followed: powder metallurgy components and bearings (88), metal powder (30), and related equipment (25).
