GAZ Group has recently signed a memorandum with Swedish industrial manufacturer, FinnvedenBulten to make joint venture to produce fasteners at Gorkovsky plant located in Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia. Both sides will determine details of the joint venture by the end of this year and the production is expected to start in 2012. This plan is set to develop and produce fasteners used in the automobile industry in Russia and CIS countries. Gorkovsky plant will utilize the existing facilities and equipment for production and sales, while FinnvedenBulten will provide technology to GAZ. FinnvedenBulten is one of the leading automotive fastener suppliers. It has 4 production bases and 7 logistics & sales centers in Europe, Asia, and USA.
