Fastener World International Fastener Manufacturing Exposition (IFME) 2019 took place May 14 to 16 at Georgia World Congress Center and was co-located with Interwire Trade Exposition this year. IFME is the only industry show with a dedicated and exclusive focus on the manufacture of the full-range of fasteners and precisioned formed parts and is a manufacturing show for manufacturers featuring materials, production machinery, tooling, components, inspection and packaging systems, software, accessories, manufacturing support services...and much more. According to the statistics of the organizer, there were more than 400 exhibitors at both thematic areas (IFME + Interwire) and around 16 seminars were held during the event and visitors were from at least 50 countries. According to Fastener World’s correspondent on-site, most of exhibitors were wire and mechanical parts suppliers. Fastener World disseminated on our stand the latest publications (including Fastener World Magazine, China Fastener World Magazine, Hardware & Fastener Components Magazine, Emerging Fastener Markets Magazine), which offer the most complete suppliers info and industrial news to visiting buyers and keep them updated with global fastener industrial trends at all times. For buyers interested in Taiwanese fastener manufacturers, our publications are no doubt the most useful and must-have sourcing directory. Fastener World was also one of the most focused stand for visiting buyers during the 3-day event. According to our correspondent, perhaps due to the uncertainties brought by the trade war between China and USA, the number of visitors was not as many as it was in the last edition. However, IFME was still a platform that converged several fastener and equipment manufacturers from different countries (e.g., Carlo Salvi, Sakamura, Wafios, IFMSA and Wrentham Tools) to exhibit their latest fastener technology, materials, manufacturing machinery, tools, testing & inspection facilities, etc. The next edition is scheduled to take place again in 2021.
