Thai Vehicle Export Slows Down but Domestic Sales are Increasing
According to a report released by The Federation of Thai Industries, Thailand exported 67,114 units of vehicles in total to the world this April, which are the lowest record over the past 24 months and down 7.52% from the same period last year. Among all the countries to which vehicles made in Thailand were exported, only the export to Australia reveals growth. In terms of domestic sales, the growth is very significant. This April 86,076 units of vehicles were sold in Thailand (up 8.7% from the same period last year). In the first 4 months of 2019, the cumulative domestic sales in Thailand reached 349,625 units of vehicles, up 10.5% from the same period last year.
