Japanese KTC Works with Hitachi on AR-Enabled Bolt Fastening System

KTC worked with Hitachi and YAMAGATA and developed a bolt fastening system that displays the fastening position of bolts on a headmount display via AR technology. With this system, operators will be able to check the meter and make sure they are fastening the displayed bolt with regulated force. They can also use the system for digital management. The system will be put into tests and is expected to make locomotive production more efficient.
