Satisfying Various Customer Requirements with Inspection, Calibration and Representation

Creditable 3rd party inspection is the key for fastener quality and the assurance for both customers and manufacturers. When foreign customers purchased fasteners, hardware, and hand tools from Asia, they request the products to be inspected before shipment to ensure the quality, and as an independent 3rd party inspection institution, Asia Technical Services, founded in 1976, provides relevant services. To comply with changing market, the Company established ISO 17025 certified torque calibration laboratory, length calibration laboratory, and hardness test laboratory one after another for various inspection and calibration requirements, including dimension measurement, fastener test, process audit, and export inspection. Besides, it also upgraded its calibration capability in 2017, for example, the ring gauge range is from 2mm to 150mm, and plug gauge range is from 0.05mm to 150mm. Furthermore, with the mutual supports from its offices in Taipei, Tainan, and Shanghai, not only reduced product’s QC risk before the shipment, and is more time and cost effective.

 

The company provides three main services, inspection, calibration and representation. In terms of inspection, 95% of its customers are from Europe, and most of them are manufacturers, and the rest are customers from North America and Asia, and its service range includes China, Southeast Asia, and Taiwan. It provides a professional inspection platform for the industry, and fastener products are the core element of its business. It also expand its services to hardware, hand tools, and surface treatment related products. In addition to provide the premium inspection service, as well as good products to fulfill customers’ different requirements, the company also acts as representatives of German’s SCHATZ (Kistler Remscheid) analyze system, microGLEIT water based lubricant, Doerken anticorrosion coating, SCHLAGER industrial furnace system, n-gineric intelligent transducer, and IAC scanning and measurement system.

 

Creditability Originated from Various Certifications  

After acquiring the LRQA SIO 9001:2000 in 1993, Asia Technical Services never ceases in the acquisition of related QC certifications. Other certifications include the ISO 17025 in 1994 for its calibration and inspection laboratories, and ISO 9001:2015 revision for its audit. All these efforts are for the assurance of inspection quality for customers, and their trust on the service providers are established on the certificates they have.
