The leading fastener distributor Interfast recently has signed the letter of intent with China’s AVIC International in Zhuhai City (Guangdong Province) to set up a new joint venture company in Guangdong for providing specialized fasteners, hardware, fastening systems, and value-added service to the growing aerospace market in domestic China and abroad. President of Interfast said, “…that will service the growing needs of both the domestic Chinese aerospace community, as well as international aerospace manufacturers, airlines and maintenance repair and overhaul facilities.” Interfast has worked with AVIC since 1995. One report by Research firm AeroStrategy indicated that China is one of the three popular locations for new aerospace manufacturing investments.
