Currently, the newly built wire production line in the wire plant of China Ansteel with 600,000 tons of capacity successfully broke the limit of wire specification and produced the wire with the diameter of Φ25mm. Thus, Ansteel has become the second industry capable of producing this kind of wire after China Baosteel. The application of this wire is quite wide and most of it is of special grades like steel for automotive fasteners, steel for high-level springs, steel for bearings. The outlook of this product is quite good. The successful development of this wire can further improve the competitiveness of China Ansteel and its market share.
