Domestic steel price keeps rising. On the other day, CSC opened the bid price by over 12.1% in April and May while Feng Hsin also announced to adjust wire rod price to NT$1,000/ton. After the adjustment, the quotation price increases from NT$24,900 to NT$25,900 (+4.02%), which increases around NT$1,300 this year with increase ratio by 5.28%. Feng Hsin indicates that it is to correspond to the market condition for the adjustment of wire rod price. Because Dragon Steel, Yieh Hsing, and Quintain Steel increase the wire rod price around NT$1,000 while CSC even adds NT$2,500 for the coil price in April and May. In order to catch up with the market price, hence, Feng Hsin increases a bit but being with more rising space for the follow-up price.
