IKEA Recalls Cribs Over a Fastener Problem

IKEA is recalling the SNIGLAR crib 70X132 over a problem with its bolts.
The company says the bolts that secure the mattress are not long enough to extend through the lock nut. This could cause the mattress supports to detach and collapse, increasing the risk of entrapment and suffocation.
Customers should check the crib immediately. If the bolts extends all the way through the lock nut they are the proper length and not included in the recall. It they do not extend through the nut, they are included.
