The first edition of Fastener Poland kicked off at the International Exhibition and Convention Centre EXPO Krakow on November 28-30 this year. Poland is the fifth largest producer of fasteners in Europe, yet no professional trade show of their own was held in past few years. Finally, the first professional international fastener trade fair in Central and Eastern Europe—Fastener Poland—was held with many people’s expectation. As the 2nd largest importer to Poland, Taiwan exports approximately USD 1.2 billion worth of screws to Poland annually. Besides other exhibitors from more than 10 countries, Fastener World along with 12 Taiwanese companies also attended the show, looking for business cooperation in Europe. Fastener World’s representative onsite stated that the show was packed with crowds and demonstrated its huge attraction to buyers. The thematic scopes of the show cover: Industrial Fasteners and Fixings; Construction Fixings; Assembly and Installation Systems; Fastener Manufacturing Technology; Storage, Distribution, Factory Equipment; Services; Information and Communication. The show was concurrently held with the 22nd EUROTOOL International Trade Fair, and the 9th Blach Tech Expo International Sheet Metal Working, Joining and Coating Trade Fair. Most exhibitors look forward to the upcoming business opportunities created by this show.
