Russian Investigation on Fastener Import Completed

This investigation was initiated by the Ministry of Industry of the Russian Federation 20 months ago and has been completed recently. Russian Prime Minister Putin signed the document to impose special protective measures on certain types of fasteners.
Products concerned are as follows:
a. Steel or iron bolts with hexagon/round/square heads, with the nominal outer diameter of 6-30mm (excluding bolts with additional design elements, flange, collar, and (or) pointed end of the rod).
b. Hexagon steel or iron nuts with inner thread diameter of 5-30mm (excluding those having additional design elements, flange, and retaining).
c. Single-turn steel or iron spring washers with the inner diameter of 6-42mm.
Duties in the amount of USD282.4 per ton will be valid for 3 years. This protective measure is not for products from Belorussia and other developing countries (excluding China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao).
