French Faurecia to Build 7 New Plants in China

It is reported that the 6 largest automotive equipment supplier in the world, Faurecia made an announcement that it would build 7 new plants in China. In 2010, its global total sales growth increased 48% to 13.796 billion euros (net profits of 0.202 billion euros), among which 10.696 billion euros were generated from components supplied to car manufacturers (+41%). The sale in Asia increased 80% to 0.968 billion euros (0.789 billion euros of which were generated from China and the increase was up to 71%). So far, China has become the most important market of Faurecia. In order to keep the pace with the trend of expansion. It added 6 new plants into operation in 2010. It has 23 plants in China and plans to establish 7 new plants.
