China's August Steel Output Sets a New Record

In light of the price rise in steel, China's steel capacity went full throttle in August and set a new record in history.

The output in the first 8 months reached record-breaking 566 million tons, up 5.6% from the last period.

China's threaded steel price in August had once reached RMB4,396 per ton, which translates to an accumulated rise of 30% in this year.
