Brazil exported 310.9 million tons of iron ore in 2010, increased 266 million tons in the same perioe of 2009 with 16.8% growth. Due to the rising price of international iron ore, Brazil had a substantial increase on export for iron ore in 2010 from US$13.2 billion to US$28.9 billion, the average export price from US$49.7/ton to US$92.9/ton (FOB).
