Japanese Yamashina Launches Sales of "Armor Nut"
Yamashina Corporation has self-developed and started selling insert nuts made of CFRP aluminum alloy (galvanic corrosion resistant). The company is the first in the world to use aluminum alloy nuts on highly conductive carbon fiber, eliminating the expensive cost for galvanic corrosion resistance while achieving bolt fastening. The product is available as a small-lot version and large-lot version, both of which have special knurled shapes to prevent loosening and form a galvanic corrosion resistant coat on the surface of the nut. The product can be used on automotive, drones and robots that seek lightweighting.
