Japan External Trade Organization Sets up the New Export Powerhouse Consortium to Support SMEs Eyeing the World Market

Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) esatblished the "New Export Powerhouse Consortium", sending free-of-charge experts to SMEs intending to devlop overseas markets. These companies have no idea who to go to or where to start; therefore this consortium can provide them with strong support. 

The status quo of the Japanese SMEs is that they have no know-how or experience to expand market or business, even if they have the opportunity or environment to tap into the world market.  The "New Export Powerhouse Consortium" is a medium for JETRO to introduce to SMEs 1,031 supportive organizations, including government-related organizations, banks, Chamber of Industry & Commerce, and certification organizations, sending expert from these organizations to support the SMEs. The feature of this consortium is that it sends experts at no charge according to the environment, industry category and business theme that the SMEs belong to.
