Japanese Nitto Seiko Rolls out New Screwdriver for Small Lot and Diversified Production

Nitto Seiko rolled out the new “NX Driver SD600T” for small lot and diversified production on December 20, 2016. Configurable fastening programs are increased from 16 to 32 sets. A single NX Driver can support multiple types of screws.

The main body of the driver uses a new motor, reducer and torque sensor to improve fastening speed and precision. Maximum speed: 1,100 rpm. Torque range: 0.5-2.0N·m, 1.0-5.0N·m, 2.5-9.0N·m with respective torque precision at 3%, 2%, 2%. Fastening waveform judgment and data collection are now the standard functions of the controller that can judge whether the waveform is qualified and save data for traceability. Nitto Seiko updated the driver's software for fastening program configuration and waveform display, and enhanced its functions including I/O display, forced rotation and fastening result confirmation. The driver costs JPY 675 thousand (excluding tax) including the main driver body, controller and cable connector.
