2016 Supplier Date Event of Würth Taiwan Branch Office and Laboratory with Nearly 100 Suppliers in Attendance

Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG (“the Würth Group”) is a specialised distributor of fasteners, professional hand/pneumatic/power tools, hardware & related accessories, sanitation products, electronic & chemical products, bio-tech oil, as well as a provider of assembly technology support. Thus far it has offered more than 100 thousand types of products to about 300 thousand clients around the world. Its global sales value in 2015 was up to EUR 11.05 billion.
Based on all the successes it has achieved, the Würth Group once again held its supplier date event at its Taiwan Branch Office in Kaohsiung on Oct. 14, with the enthusiastic attendance of many Taiwanese fasteners, hand tools, and related industrial products suppliers. High level executives from the Würth Group in major regional markets were also present to welcome all guests personally. 
“This Supplier Date Event is not only for consolidating the partnership and friendship with our existing valuable clients, but is also for creating an approach to locating more trustable Taiwanese suppliers who also care about quality as we do all the times,” said Thomas Klenk, Executive Vice President of the Würth Group for Purchasing & Product. Mr. Klenk added, “Quality is the most important factor for the Würth Group. That is why the Kaohsiung office was established. This office is just a few minutes walk away from the complex for high speed rails, railways, and metro, and plays a key role for us to ensure that every product we buy from our Taiwanese partners are compliant with the highest standard of the Würth Group.” He also noted, “Its sales in the Americas, Europe, and Asia in 2016 all demonstrated stable growth and the upcoming 2017 will be hopefully a promising year.” During the event, the Würth Group also prepared some delicious German beers, pork knuckles, and sausages. The friendship between the Würth Group and its suppliers has been strengthened further again through this event.
