Japanese NKE is Developing SPN Anti-loosening Nut and Expects to Open Sales in September

NKE Corporation produces Studs and slit nuts that are added with anti-loosening function. It is developing the Stability Pin Nut (SPN) that can replace existing nuts and exert anti-loosening and operating performance.

The structure of SPN includes a film that fixes together an upper nut and a main nut with an inserted pin to form a single nut. When fastening SPN with a tool, during seating the pin on the main nut will lift the upper nut to eradicate backlash. This mechanism will cause the upper nut to produce thrust and achieve anti-loosening effect.
