Further Improved Quality: Bi-Mirth Corp. Develops New Surface Treatment Technology
by Tanya Shih, Fastener World
Bi-Mirth Corp. founded in 1986 specializes in manufacture and sales of construction fasteners. The excellent quality of its products has greatly enhanced the competitive edge of its customers. With 30 years of company history, Bi-Mirth has transformed from a trading company with only 3 employees to the current scale with 4 factories for screw production, coating, electroplating, and packaging as well as over 200 employees.
New Technology as Armor for Fasteners to Resist Harsh Environment
Bi-Mirth offers wood screws, concrete screws, self-drilling screws, self-tapping screws and other similar articles for building applications. It is capable of producing long wood screws (one of its major advantages) and has a professional and well-experienced R&D team, which can develop custom-made products as per customer’s demand. The ISO9001:2008, TS16949, ISO14001, ETA, ICC certified Bi-Mirth ensures that customers can get various services with stable quality.
Bi-Mirth’s surface treatment capability is why it can always take the lead in the industry. In addition, Bi-Mirth continues to step forward by listening to customers’ needs carefully before it developes a new product in the market. It has been in recent years cooperating with professors of NCKU in the R&D of screws that can resist super low temperature, hydrogen embrittlement, and corrosion and that is UV-proof, in order to resist the extremely harsh climate below -40 Celsius degrees. It has successfully developed the new technology as armor for fasteners to resist harsh environment.
Never Forget to be Grateful While Seeking for Taking the Lead
Bi-Mirth offers customers surface treatment service with state-of-the-art German technology. There is also a high-tech laboratory in its factory equipped with Atomic Absorption Spectrometry, X-Ray Plating Thickness Tester, and Automatic Potentiometric Titrator. This year it is planning to develop a corrosion-resistant coating material with less thickness and a high corrosion-resistant ability (15-60 cycles of Kesternich test), which helps reduce costs and increase competitiveness.
In addition to seeking for taking the lead, Bi-Mirth also keeps an eye on environmental protection and sustainability. It uses electroplating solutions and chemical materials from approved suppliers in all its manufacturing procedures. Waste water/gas/materials and noise generated by cooling and boiler heating systems are well controlled under its environmental protection system for reducing impacts on the environment.
So far its main overseas sales market is Europe, but it is also active in developing other markets such as America. Bi-Mirth has planned to invest capital to adapt to the requirements of Industry 4.0, which can help it become a more efficient and competitive corporation.
