Chun Yu Group in Business Transformation with Increased Profits

Chun Yu (top Taiwanese fastener maker) has successfully transformed to manufacture railway fasteners and acquired JIS certificate. In light of the low performing steel market, Chun Yu's revenue in H2 2015 was lower than H1, but its profits increased by folds. With the backdrop of global excessive steel demand, Chun YU effectively improves product value adds and gets rid of price competition, becoming one of the few with profit gains in the steel-related stock market.

Another example is Boltun which focuses on automotive fasteners. It has subsidiaries in Taiwan and China, and has acquired a company in Germany. It gains long-term orders from Toyota, Nissan, and BMW, and performs well in business. It will continue to diversify markets, tap into the heavy machinery fastener market, and finalize the target of a new investment in Thailand.
