With the recent effects of soaring costs of metal materials, demands of more advanced functionalities of products, developmental trend toward higher precision, and environmental protection requirements in the making process, many traditional metal products are facing the problems of higher production costs, insufficient functionalities, and failing environmental protection conformity. For instance, many raw materials for metal products are now required to have multiple properties of high strength, lightweight, and high temperature proof in the same time; some mutually conflicting characteristics are also required on some special products, like high conductivity with thermal insulation, or high strength, high modulus of elasticity, light weight.
