Mexican Automotive Industry Reports Increasing Export to USA

In the most recent 10 years, Latin America (especially Mexico and Colombia with continuous growth in automotive sales) has become one of the most attractive markets for large car manufacturers.

In the 1st quarter this year, the automotive export from Mexico to USA exhibited an annual growth of 15.2%. In the most recent months, Ford, Toyota, Nissan, Audi, and BMW have all announced to invest Mexico with the total investment value of US$6 billion. The market scale of Mexico is smaller than that of Brazil, but is growing really fast. Its annual sales growth in the 1st quarter this year was 21.9%, which could be attributed to the easier application for bank loans as well as other loans offered by some car manufacturers.
