Total Trade Value Between Taiwan and Russia Grows 4.6% in 2014
According to the statistic of Taiwanese Customs, the total trade value between Taiwan and Russia in 2014 reached USD4.96 billion, up 4.6% over 2013. Russia is the 21st largest trade partner of Taiwan and the bilateral trade value represents 0.84% of Taiwanese foreign trade. Taiwan exported USD 1.31 billion worth of goods to Russia (a 12.35% decline).Russia is the 25th largest export destination of Taiwan and 0.42% of Taiwanese total exports are shipped to Russia.
Taiwan imported USD 3.65 million worth of goods from Russia, up 12.5% over 2013. Russia is the 16th largest import origin of Taiwan and 1.33% of Taiwan’s imports are from Russia, which shows there are still many business opportunities in the bilateral trade between Taiwan and Russia.
