Recovering European Economy Pushes OFCO’s Sales Up This Year

OFCO Industrial Corp. is an old-brand in Taiwanese fastener industry. It completed the capital increase and restructure of the management in 2008. After years of reorganization, its business has been gradually back on track. The antidumping duties the EU imposed against certain fasteners from China are a big help for it to win more market share in Europe and are what help it survive.

 

Europe is a major market of OFCO. In the past 2 years its profit continued to drop due to the economic recession in Europe. However, the conditions in Europe continue to recover this year, so the net profit before tax of OFCO during the first 4 months of this year has outpaced the total result of last year. In addition, backed by the increasing orders from Europe, the capacity utilization of OFCO in Q2 is expected to reach 80-90% and the capacity in Q3 is also expected to be fully utilized after reviewing the current Q3 order feedback from customers,  which can definitely increase the sales of OFCO in the future.
